There have been a few situations recently when patients have been upset and angry with our staff because we have needed to change our systems for providing a face to face appointment. We still need to speak to most people before we can arrange a face to face appointment. Sometimes the best person to deal with your problem will be one of the GPs, but sometimes it will be one of the nurses, a physio or mental health nurse. We have found that we can deal with many problems over the phone, or by using our eConsult system. A video appointment is also possible. We are always trying to improve the services we give, but the past year has provided many challenges with the circumstances caused by the pandemic. Please be patient with our staff and treat them respectfully – we are trying to provide you with the best service possible and also maintain safety for all patients and staff.
