We are currently a training practice which means
we are
involved in the training of GPs.
The GP Trainee is a
fully qualified doctor near the end of their training to be a GP.
The practice has been approved as a trainng practice since 1996. This
means we will usually have at least one (but often several!) doctor(s)
working with us for a year, as they gain experience in general
practice. Trainee doctors work for four years in hospital before
spending their main year with us.
As part of the training they require to video record several
consultations. Your permission for this will always be sought in
advance.
